Domed decal

OK, some additional details. There's that empty square space for a logo above the power switch - decided to use it.

This was printed on a high quality photo paper - 1 inch square in size.

I mixed up some of the clear finish, this time about 50/50 clearcoat and hardener. Then, I poured the mixture slowly directly over the square piece, letting it run over the edges. As you can see it's solidifying nicely to form a domed badge.
I imagine you could do something similar with epoxy that dries clear and colorless. It's all about fluid dynamics.
